Default Custom Softail

I have a 2015 Softail Slim. I have been looking at the softail breakout and love the way the back tire is but I'm not a fan of the tank being smaller. Does anyone know the cost to change the softail slims back end to be like the breakout? I know that there would be a lot to change to the slim but I'm trying to figure out would it be cheaper to do this or just get a breakout?

Are you talking about how a 2018 Breakout's tank is smaller? I thought the 13-17 had the same size tank as the slim. Also I think part of the Breakout's appeal is also the 35deg rake. I have a 17 Breakout and would not trade that bike for anything. This is probably what you need for a wider tire on you're bike.

3.5 gallons on the new ones, I believe. Terribly out of proportion.

The 2018. The 35deg rake is also really awesome.

I imagine you could find a garage queen Breakout of the same vintage as your Slim for a reasonable price.

On the 18, not only is the tank to small, but they reduced the rake to 34 deg. It has lost most of what I bought mine for. I have a friend with a 13 Breakout that is selling his for 14k.I'm not a fan of the 13-16 wheels, but those can be changed for less than the Heartland wide tire kit.

This is the way to go, unless you have to have a M8, Great engine.

I was going to put a fatter rear tire on my slim....I liked the fat front look an foot boards the breakout lacked. from what I"ve read you can put a 200 under the slim with a wheel/fender swap.
