Okay so who is going to be in town for the Gettysburg Bike week? I am local to the area so chime in and be heard!

 

I will be riding down from Newport, RI. Originally from Maryland, I spent quite a bit of time in Gettysburg as a kid, stomping around the old battlegrounds, hoping to find an old Civil War bullet, and climbed some old tower out in a field. We always went in the summertime so it was a relief to go to that old Theatre and watch some history clips - at least in was air conditioned!

Darn I am nearby but took vacation and heading to Friday the 13th event in Canada (Port Dover). Have plans and reservations already

 

I'll be there from Friday til Monday morning.

I'll be there by my self, Don't know where Ill hang, naybe just putt around some. I was at the Gettysburg HD store yeaterday, there were 3 people in the store and me. Would you believe NOT ONE sales person asked me ANYTHING !!!! I was all over a new Road Glide checking it out, they just walked by me (I have great credit too). Don't know if I'd EVER buy a bike there......

 

My friend Jim and I are riding in from Long Island and we will be there from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. I wish we could stay longer but I just started a new job a few weeks ago and can't get any time off yet. I guess 24 hours in Gettysburg is better than not going at all.

 

I reside in York, PA and plan on attending every day. I'm new to the areaand don't know many people.
