I have some skull and flame mirrors (no idea what brand) that came with my bike and they are worthless. I can't adjust them to see behind me without ducking or bending to the side. I want chrome and my bike has a lot of willie g skulls, so I was thinking of getting these https://www.shoputahharley.com/produ...rrors-91315-04

What are your recommendations for chrome mirrors? If you have the willie g teardrop mirrors, can you post a pic and a quick review?

I had those without the skulls on my Heritage. Same mirror, different trim. The rear view was a bit small for my taste and I sold em after a month. The sweet spot is about half of a std mirror...

What about just adding extensions to the mirrors, which give you more adjustment and control on where they sit? I found some on eBay for about $10, I think, and they helped me a lot. Here's a link to some just like the ones I got: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Mirro...item2393977a5f
Because the mirror simply bolts to this, and this bolts to the switch covers, you have lots of adjustment available.

I've been wanting to change out my stock mirrors for 5 years now (Don't like the way they look on my apes) but I can't find any that provide a better view, so they are still on there...

I have the biltwell 4 inch round mirrors on my 18 heritage and they have a lot of room for adjustment. And no problem seeing behind. Paid $115 from biltwell thru Amazon.
and if not happy they have a nice return policy.

JFYI. There are a lot of different mirror styles available, but I wanted a set that gave me a lot of rear visability. The fancy shaped mirrors did not do that for me. I put a set of Kuryakyn Heavy Industry Chrome Mirrors from J&P cycles that are oval in shape and provide a large view area. I can see behind me as well adjorning lanes. The stems are more horizontal than vertical so they reach out more than others plus I have extenders that move them out even more. Good quality substantial mirrors.

I have the black color of these on my fat bob. But they offer it in chrome too. Honestly I can see behind me just fine. With my stock ones I could only see my elbows. The quality on these is great. And match perfect with the Harley edge cut series.
