Talking Tach Troubles

Greetings fellow forum followers, i am known as GoZilla and I own a 2006 Heritage Classic. Thrilled to be here and trust me, I always have questions. My current dilemma is with an after market tach. Running it through the speedo isn't gonna work because a) I do not have a "pink wire" and my #3 pin space is empty. So I'd like to try running it through the coil but I am unable to identify the ground wire? So rather then polk around playing Christopher Columbus trying to land on the correct wire, perhaps someone has taken on this challenge before and would be kind enough to advise.
Thx-

GoZilla
