My bike is a 2018 Deluxe in random spots near the white wall it has thin strips of white. Is this ok or not. I have had quite a few HDs but new to white walls. I want some opinions before I go to the dealership.

So what do you think is wrong the bike is a 2018 rides perfect. Doesn't really look cracked or anything just like white where it should not be. Tire and bike have 2400 miles. I just need to be prepared if they say no to new tire.

 

Also it feels smooth there it's not like a belt or cord popping through.

 

There is more whitewall on any whitewall tire than actually shows. The plant trims away the black portion to allow the whitewall to show. That's how whitewall tires can be different widths or even dual white walls. Looks to me the black portion of the tire is thin there at the streaks. Rubber is naturally white. See if you can get a new tire out of the dealer. If not, auto store has tire black(paint) and cover with that. Your bike may have a tube, my 2013 deluxe does not.

 

Thanks cocky. I was thinking it was probably cosmetic only but for what the bike cost maybe they can put a tire on it under warranty if not I will just keep a close eye on it.
