Default HD vs. LW 312 Swingarm bags

Looking for the dimensions of the HD Black Leather Swingarm Bag
(Part # 90200417) to see how it compares to the Leatherworks 312X.

Can someone who has purchased the HD bag provide dimensions?

Thanks!

I saw one on a Blackline at a dealer. The LW is a better quality bag and costs less than the HD.
The quick disconnects on the HD felt cheaper, nylon strap to mount it compared to leather on the LW.
I have the 3" LW and the HD appeared to be very close in size. So the 5" LW will be wider.
The LW is made in the USA. I didn't notice where the HD one was made.
http://www.sideroadcycles.com/Import...opper_Bag.html $158.99 for the 312X $149.95 for the 312 3"
Or DR V-TWIN offers a discount for the bag.

I'd PM Drew, because they list the 3" for almost the same price as the 312X at SideRoadCycles.

Excellent info. I think I'm inclined to go with the LW 312L (3") one. I'll call Drew.
Thanks!!

I have the LW 5" one and I like it a lot. Solid construction, looks good, fits fine and no HD logo.

No problem. WARG has a writeup on mounting the bag to a plate that I used as a starting point for the one I made up and use. Worth looking over if you later want a solid mount.

HD bag is 3 1/2" wide by 12" long and 10 1/2" tall in the middle. I have it and its a good bag. Can't speak to leather works, but 5" wide would be nice.

If you decide to get the LW, get the 5" bag. The 3" is small. I've got hte 5" and it's perfect. Not too big but fits what I need to carry around for the day.
