I have an 02 Softail Standard EFI fuel injection everything was running fine and I got caught in the rain started spitting and sputtering after that found a intake leak replace the seals and still had the same problem bike seems to cough and spit when riding down the road need help please also at one point my speedometer stopped working was only reading 35 miles an hour I shut the bike off and turned it back on and it started working fine I don't know if this is related to my current problem or not any help would be appreciated thank you
Probably a good idea to check for spark at the rear cylinder. Also a good idea to check your battery cables, tight at both battery terminals and at the starter and ground.
New battery n plugs everything is tight . Im pulling codes from the speedo and showing all clear ... Wondering if i should try unplugin the fuel pack and pluging it back into the bike itself ???! Sorry if all this sounds kinda messed up im using my phone to text lol
You have spark at both cylinders? By Fuel Pack do you have a piggyback tuner installed? I agree you should go back and double check the connections at the throttle body, fuel injectors, MAP, etc.
Yes I have spark on both cylinders and yes I am piggybankng fuelpak double check triple checked every ground wire and plug in everything seems to be okay and tight

Yes ran probably 70 miles that day with no problems then rode in quarter size rain for about 5 miles got home shut bike off and wipe it down came out 20 minutes later started up and found a intake leak replace intake seals and still doing the same thing almost like a hiccup as soon as you go down the road
