I gave it try on a new bike for one ride. That's all I needed to learn I hated it. Unbolted it and sawed off the spline and called it a day.

I'm lazy, it requires too much movement.

I certainly don't care about the wear marks on my boot.

I love it. Just bought a 2018 Heritage and had to add one. Once you get the hand of one you will not have a bike without a one

Cool

Had one on my 2016 Fat Boy, rode home from the dealers and took it off straight away. Never looked back. YMMV !

Hated mine at first. Then I started using it a little, then a little more, Now I use it about 99 percent of the time. Gravity makes it easier on your lever.

My 2006 FLSTN was the first bike I owned with a toe and heel shifter, I loved it with the first ride. Have a friend who couldn’t stand it and took off the heel shifter. Different strokes for different folks.

Never had one before the Fatboy and I was unsure if I'd like it, but I also never had floorboards either. I added the extended heel shifter a couple seasons ago and I also reversed their position with the heel shifter on the inside, closer to the primary. Gives me more room that way.

I tried using it for years and finally ditched it. They do sell extended versions that may have been better but it was just not for me. Some people love them.
Ditched mine for the same reasons. Plus, the heel shifter bar kept rubbing against the inside of my heel. By the end of a long ride, it as really sore.

You'll either love it or hate it. Never had one until the Heritage. And once I got used to it I found I loved it.
Would hate to be without it now.

Extended reach heal toe shifter and footboard extenders (out 1") and I have more than enough room for my big jalopy feet
