Here's a pic. As far as looks go, I prefer the stock bar; the Fat Drag isn't nearly as fat, and the angle of the pullback is sharper on the Fat Drag whereas on the stock bar it's more sweeping. But for comfort, the Fat Drag wins by bringing the grips closer by about 1.5" or so.

Also a potential consideration for those who like to run their mirrors under the bar -- that's possible on the stock '18+ Fat Bob handlebar, but it's not possible with the Fat Drag. I ran my mirrors upside down for a while on the stock bar because I liked the clean flat top look it provided, but the pullback on the Fat Drag meant the mirrors would hit the tank a lot sooner, so they had to go back up top.

I ordered this bar and riser combo from LA Choppers yesterday. 10" Kage Fighter T-Bars in flat black. They call them T-bars but they are more of a moto style bar I think. I like the look of them as they are a bit different looking and the risers and bars are sold as a set instead of separately like most others. The price for the set was cheaper than the price of the risers I was looking at alone! I've been told the quality of these bars is excellent but I will have to be the judge of that when they arrive. I'll be sure to post up some pics and give my thoughts and review of the bars once I swap them out and put a few miles on with them installed.

So the risers and bars came in yesterday....... and I am returning them. The bars are great and are nice and beefy but the risers I didn't like one bit. I thought the bottom clamp and riser legs were one solid piece but the riser legs bolt onto the bottom clamp and are not one solid piece. I'm sure they would have worked fine but I didn't like the design and figure that may be a weak piont on the risers for something to go wrong and prefer a solid riser/bottom clamp instead of risers that bolt on to the bottom clamp.

Now I will just spend the money and get either the Forbidden Machine risers that look almost exactly like the HCP risers just with a different top clamp and a slight difference in the shape, or just get the HCP risers.

How does the round headlamp compare to the stock rectangular one? Does the round set up put out just as much light as the stock? I'm pretty satisfied with the light output on my stock '18, but really like how the round headlamp looks.

Thx,

So, I know this is an old thread but wanted to ask this to anyone here. Did anyone end up removing the tank in order to swap the bars/risers? I've seen a couple vids where people removed the tank but it looks like all the connections terminate just behind that big rubber grommet so I am not sure about why people pulled the tank. Am I missing something? I am looking to keep stock risers and ONLY swap the bars so trying to NOT have to remove tank.

Thank You

Model and year of bike?

Removing a fuel tank is not rocket science...

I realize that. Just more of a concern since I've never done it before.

Sometimes it is better to get the tank out of your way, and out of harms way also.

Is it just one line connected directly tank that needs to be unclipped? or multiple? When looking underneath, I've only noticed the chrome color plug that looks like its a twist n pull connector.
