So I have looked everywhere and can't find a definitive answer about what exact cable line (with part number) that I need. I just installed 3 inch handlebar risers/spacers on my 2013 Fat Bob and my brake line is barely snug after I unscrewed the clamp from the underside of the bottom triple tree. Can someone help me out and ideally send me a link of the brake line I need? The bars are now 7" high.
I will tell you what HCC told me to do, take a heavy string or med rope and have someone help hold it following it all the way from one end to the other moving the bars from left and right. Add an inch or two for slack and now you know what length you need. Most lengths are readily available.
This may or may not help... but.. when I went to change brake lines, I chose the HD Diamondback 2-piece system for my front. I figured that set me up to to whatever I wanted in the future to the front end... like dual discs, or higher bars....without spending more than I need on a complete line. I just replace either the 'top half' or the 'bottom half'. I used to have a parts book that showed the lengths of all of HD's cables/lines... I wonder where that went...
