The Freedom Performance exhaust that I have used have full cover heat shields so, no, no blueing. The only issue I had was with the tabs welded in one of the heat shields broke loose. They look great, sound great.

Had a set of the sharktails on my last deluxe. Overall quality was very good. Fitment was excellent. The fishtail isnt as good looking in my opinion as the Samson but the quality was too notch. They are also a little bigger diameter and had a great sound. I would recommend them.

My wife has had Freedom pipes on her Victory Vegas for the past 3 years. Great product. Fitment and welds were awesome. Many rides caught in the rain and the chrome is holding up nicely. I would recommend them as a company/product. But I do agree with Krakky that the Samsons (personally) look better but I have some concerns with their build quality.
