Default heritage 114 front wheel revoval

I give up, I even have the shop manual and it doesn't specifically say how I remove the axle from the front wheel for a tire change. the axle has no nut on it, rather this weird female hex looking thing. If i get some help, I'm going to put a Michelin Commander II on there. also, while off, I have a youtube that shows how to seal spokes and convert wheel to tubeless. Is one fork threaded? so far shop manual no help, and nothing on youtube or forums...........HELP!!!!

This and most information is predicated upon the transference of time and diligence at said hobby and or operations of other
indulgences that would add to the confluence of the art and maintenance of mechanical apparatuses
.I will go out on the proverbial limb here and get thoroughly scolded for this but at this juncture- I am in the camp of thinking
now is the time to put down the crescent wrench, vice grips and cart the dam thing to the dealer, or Indy
I am all about teaching, and helping people here--god knows I have sent enough free stuff to people just to get them out of a hole-
And i am happy to do it-
But -at some point, one has to recogmize when one is going to help the other kill themselves.
just STOP

Default oh contrare!

oh, if this was a porsche, or even a BMW, I would agree. but Harleys are like erector sets, or simple swing sets. part of the fun is wrenching, and not paying high school grads over $100 per/hr to wrench for me. please take this as a challenge to do some sleuthing and give me a solution.

First thing to do is source the proper tool.

Then, if you have the factory service manual, it's pretty straightforward.

Pictures of both sides of your axle would help us see what the issue is. Wheel removal is pretty straight forward. You may need an additional tool.

Or just make one from a 1/2-inch bolt and a couple of nuts. JB Weld to keep nuts in place. Couldn't find a tool locally so I got creative with stuff in the "junk box".

Some parts do, front forks and many parts are made in metric countries. However, the tool I pictured serves for both metric and SAE motorcycles. I have both metric bikes and Harley's and some metric tools work on both as Barneyboy provided. Or you can make your own tool as S Sportster showed.
