I’m attempting to install the new Fork Brace on my new 2007 Deuce. Were I’m having trouble is removing the Fork Caps. I don’t want to chip the chrome, or damage the cap. Can anyone make some suggestion on the proper method of removing, and installing the fork caps?
Look for a small notch in the fork, just below/under the cap. Use a small screw driver wrapped in tape, or some thing to protect the chrome. Then, work your way around, it will 'pop" off. I had problems after the install with the caps staying down on the new fork brace. What brand/type are they?
