Talking 2008 Night Train

Good Morning!

I have recently purchased a 2008 Night train with 18,000 miles (paid $7800.. good deal?). The question I have is about build direction and tips/ wheel recommendation

Current Mods:
- Vance & Hines Big Shots, Wrapped in Black
- Baron Custom Extreme Slash Exhaust Tips (chrome)
- Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather with Black Cleaner Cover
- Fuel Controller and Dyno'd
- Burly Brand Outlaw Fairing
- Wild 1 1/4" Black 14" Chubby Outlaw Apes
- LA Choppers Cable, Brake, and Wire Kit
- ***** G Chrome & Black Grips and Pegs
- Kuryakyn Skeleton Hand Mirror
- Arlen Ness Lowering Kit 1.5" in Rear - - 2" in Front
- Harley Tri-Bar Smoked LED Tail Light
-Kuryakyn Curved License Plate Side Mount
- ***** G Chrome Skull Fuel Caps w/ Gauge
- Kuryakyn Zombie Skull Black Brake and Clutch Lever
- Purple LED Frame Accent Lights
-Forward Controls
- Twisted spike front axle caps
- Bullet Valve Stems

Will upload Pictures when finished!

Any recommendations on what wheels to go with would be greatly appreciated! Want to stick with a 21 up front and torn between xbones back (heard it looks to small from side view), or going with mammoth spokes 21 and 18.. Would like the back tire to look as bad a$$ as possible! I am not overly mechanically inclined

Mac

I stuck with the 17 on the rear. I had to get two rears when I was out on a trip, one due to a nail and the second due to wearing from riding hard in the mountains. Glad I stuck with the 17 cause the HD shops would have had to special order my tire.

hey haak,

Thanks for the reply.. those look like canadian rockies in the background?? Did you have trouble finding wheels in the 17" size? can you fit a 210 50 on there without issues? or did you run the stock 200

they are the German Alps, I was there for 3 years. I just stuck with the stock size tires, I run the Dunlap American Elite 200/55/17. I get pretty good mileage out of them, and have no issues riding in the rain. Held up really good on the German Autobahn.
I ordered the wheels from Performance Machine and had no issues with the size I wanted.
