So I picked up this frame/swing-arm off the local CL. Vin checks out as a 1985 Softail and front engine mount has Harley casting #'s. But after looking at it more and comparing against online stuff I dont think i have seen a stock Softail frame with smooth swing-arm castings (without the standard depressions they have there) and these type of tensioners?

Any ideas on what the case might be here? Also any leads on getting all the swing-arm mounting hardware would be great.

 

84 softail had that setup with a chain drive from the factory and I think a 4 speed trans

I guess it is correct then, weird poking around on ebay and such I havent seen a single one like this.
