Default FLSTF Forward controls

I am tired of dragging my foot boards and also nee to move my feet forward for comfort. I'm looking into forward controls.
Are fwd pegs more comfortable that the foot boards?
How do I resolve the loss of the kick stand mount?
Other opinions?

I have had a couple different sets of forward controls on my Fatboy. Not sure how HD forward controls are setup, but the aftermarket controls I have had included the kickstand. I had pegs for years, but wanted boards to allow me to move my feet and not be locked in one position. I used to have them pushed pretty far forward. Lately, I have been really enjoying riding with my feet further back on the boards - almost more like mid-controls. Very comfortable with the 16” apes. Only downside to boards with forward controls is your selection of boards are pretty limited due to the single mount.

I had to change to forward controls right after I bought my Fatboy. The floorboards just weren't comfortable for me, and the constant scraping was annoying. HD sells a kit to change over from boards to pegs. Mine is a 2013, so I'm not sure what year it goes back to. More comfortable for me, and I can lean over pretty far in the corners, and no scraping.

First mod I did to my fatty...lose the footboards and install forward controls. Went with Performance Machine as I have their wheels, brakes, and rotors.
