Default Helmet Locks????

I just started riding a few weeks ago after I picked up a 07 Night Train. I learned with a helmet on, and am trying to stay in the habit of wearing it. Although I have absolutely no place to put it when I go anywhere. I hate to just leave it sitting there and I also hate lugging it around. I have seen a couple products online, but not sure which way to go. Any suggestions would be great, and leaving the helmet at home is not considered a suggestion. (I figured I would get that one out of the way)
Thanks!

I have an '05 Heritage with saddle bag crash bars and Harley makes a universal helmet lock chromed that they sell for about $20. I put it on my saddle bag crash bar and it works oh so well if I need to leave it with the bike. Comes with 2 keys and everything. Better than carrying it and doesn't test the theory that "nobody ever steals helmets left on bikes". Think that theory may have been proven wrong more than once.

Kewl Metal makes helmet locks that attach to the handle bar ends. They're pretty handy and look like decorative bar ends. You can get one or two. I'm not sure what grips they work with. I have ISO Grips and they fit fine. I got mine at www.phatperformanceparts.com.

I keep a padlock in my toolbag. Padlock my helmet to my luggage rack. Could also padlock it to the engine gaurd tab at the top of the frame downtube in front of the engine.

thats a great idea, simple and use the tab on the downtube for a good use...
