Default 1995 FatBoy Primary Fluid Capacity

I know that this question has been asked a million times?
26 oz or 36 oz
i don’t have the twin cam motor and having problems finding neutral. When I took off the derby cover last week and drained the fluid, it was actually a quart.
i poured in about 26 oz and it seemed to be just right.
Just touching the bottom of the clutch 1/4”.
Would this be correct?
going to be ordering a manual soon......
thank you
Spiros

2 3/4" below clutch center shaft when bike in upright position, not on kick stand.

This is the correct level for all Big Twin Primaries with the modern wet clutch (mid `84 and later).

Bike upright, not on stand.

Too much free play in your clutch, its not completely disengaging the the clutch plates.

So, I put in 26 oz exactly and it's just above the clutch cover maybe 1/8"
Neutral is a lot easier to find and shifts are better with less clunks!

Pirmary: 26 oz (Harley) Formula +
Transmission: 24 oz (Harley) Formula +
Engine: 3 L Syn 3 (Harley)

I got better Oil pressure now and I'm a lot happier now that I replaced all my fluids.
It took me and a friend about 2-3 hours to do all my fluids (3 holes) and I also replaced my rear brake switch.
We went through the whole bike checking ever single part.....

Thank you very much!
Spiros
