I'm wondering how much the sissy bar will move when cruising down the road. Otherwise, cool project. It's impossible to do something without someone being negative. At the end of the day, it's your bike and your money, I'm anxious to see more.

Should only move with the wheel. Fender and sissybar are both attached directly into the swing arm

I saw that. I meant, when the suspension moves, the top of the sissy bar will move forward and backward. Just wondering how much. I'd think a couple inches. I use my sissy bar to attach bags so I need it stationary.

Did you build that bar? If so, is it solid round or hollow? Looks nice and symmetrical.

Ah I misread you. Yeah it will probably move a couple inches with everything. But nothing too crazy. I could probably still get away with putting s bag on it if I felt inclined. Definitely no people though. lol

Bar was solid round. Wasn't hard to make. Just set up some pivot points tack welded down to a table where I wanted the bends, heated, and maneuvered the steel around them.

Why the negativity? Love seeing people chop up newer bikes, keep up the good work mate!

I would like to do similar on my bike but I've never liked how once the fender is mounted on the swingarm it makes it look like the seat is way too high and forward

Last question, what size round bar was that? 5/8"? I've been considering making one to replace the HD QR bar I have. I like yours, the shape is very nice.

If memory serves it was either 1/2 or 5/8. I made it almost a year ago. This has been a long slow process.
