Brake light

Can anyone tell me what it means when I turn ignition on the brake light flashes 3 times . Definitely not aftermarket.

Is the Alarm / security system on? That is what my 05 does if the bike is moved and alarm is on, all lights flash.

Are you certain you don't have a brake light flasher unit installed (such as one of these https://www.customdynamics.com/vehic...light-flashers)? Does it flash when you press the brake pedal or only on startup?
