Well i bit the bullet and ordered the AIRFX softail air suspension. http://www.airsystemsengineering.com/airfx/index.php
What i like about this system is it's simple 1 air hose ,it automatically adjust for rebound . Gives you a total of 5 1/2 travel. You can still change the transmission oil without removing anything. And best of all it's rebuildable, they told me after about 3 years if needed send it back and they'll rebuild it for a 150.00 bucks. Seems like with study riding , the seals should replaced.
Checked them all out, liked the Platinum , but to many hoses = to many chances for a leak. Legends , i heard good and bad , lot a people bitched about the pogo effect and not being able to change trans oil. Progressive airtail just didn't appeal to me. Also checked the SAS system out everything is contained in one unit, sounds nice but less travel than the AIRFX plus i couldn't find out if it was rebuildable.
Like i said i bit the the bullet , looking for a better ride not the slammed look.[/align]__________________

gday
pls let me know how it goes. I do plenty of 2up and notice that my heritage can bottom out easier than i would like to think ... but then again combined weight of 175kg's. does the system allow forextra clearanceover the std setting.. On bumpy, twisting road an extra inch or so on the low ride height is much needed.

got a reply from Airfx - supposed travel 2 inch up to 3 inch lower than stock . Also advised that you could, quote , " put a Schrader valve in the "B" port or rebound port to pre-load your rebound for an adjustable rebound."lets hear how it goes. grzly
