Try theTIRE RACK for motorcycles, my bike has 17 inch wheels and 140 front and 200 back and I just found out they are rated for 104 M.P.H. about as fast as I have been, but they make a 'Z' rated tire I did not know exsited and for a fair price, about $120.00 front $140.00 back, and I found out I must have a weird tire size because only DUNLOP makes them. GOOD LUCK! PURPLE HAZE.

PH,
I also have an '07 FatBoy. Maybe I'm a 'tard, but I couldn't find the Tire Rack for motorcycles. I googled it and searched www.tirerack.com, but found nothing for motorcycles. Do you have a link? Also, do you know the model number of the Z-rated tires you're talking about? Based on your other comments about sticking with the same brand/size, I assume these are Dunlops and the same size as the D407s, just a bit better. Is that correct? Do you know if they stick better/worse? Wear shorter/longer?

Thanks for the help.

THANK YOU BLUZMN59 you are a GREAT help!!!!!! I did not KNOW about the AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE TIRE COMPANY and I do have weird size on my bike, also they are 'R' rated and I thought that was a pretty high speed tire, but I was WRONG, only rated 104 M.P.H. MAX. so HEYROB sorry for wrong Info!!! BLUZMN59 is the MAN!!!!!!! GO to www.americanmototire.com and you will find any tire you need!!! My bike uses DUNLOP D-205 and they have them FRONT 140-75-17 and REAR 200-55-17, and cost is awesome!! Also these are 'Z' RATED tires guaranteed for 149 M.P.H. and $107.00 front $120.00 rear, at HARLEY just for 200-55-17-'R' they wanted $160.00, plus the labor to mount which I think was $60.00, so BLUZMN59 if you are ever in D.F.W. area E-MAIL me and drinks are on me!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your wise help!! PURPLE HAZE.

Just got back from a breakin ride on new Metzler ME880s, purchased from 'americanmotortire'. Awesome tire! I'll never go back to Dunlop again. Also added Progressive 422's - wow!

MAN I would love to buy some METZLERS are AVON VENOMS but my wheels are weird size and DUNLOP is the only brand that FITS!!!!!! But at least I got the web for www.americanmototire.com and they sell the D-205's front 140-75-17 rear 200-55-17 'Z' RATED for 149 M.P.H.!!! Should be a big difference in the 'R' rated for 104 M.P.H. not as hard! But the 'Z' rated will not last as long but I like soft sticky tires and price is AWESOME compared to HARLEY, I guess could buy different wheels but that is way to much money to spend compared to the wheels I paid for when I bought the bike, on that site I looked at every brand and could not find my size and DUNLOP D-205 makes one size!! MINE. PURPLE HAZE.
