I'm not real keen on the way my rear turn signals stick out so far. Has anyone switched them out for shorter, more tucked in ones. All the ones I've seen in the cat. say "not for Heritage with saddle bags". Am I missing something?

I think that J&P offers an 8" one for the Heritage. Kuryakyn makes one Also. They look tha same as the stock 12" but as grzly said, comes in 10" and 8".
Thanx Dinger. Say, when you removed your saddle bags, didn't you find their was a lot of places needing chrome, especially on the left side? Mine looks awful.

Didn't like the quality of Kuryakyn. I installed theHDturn signal bar, not as short though.
Agree with dinger..kury chrome plating is not consistant, aileron pegs look great, ERGO-guard looks like crap. May have to pay more but HD triple plating seem to stand up better.
Well you could always go with the billet boys rear brake light that is also turn signals...get rid of the light bar all together.
If you replace yours with the shorter 8" bar make sure you order a forged one and not a cast one like sold by Kuryakyn. They crack really easy and I've seen multiple people with broken light bars. You can order a forged one from V-twin or Drag specialties.
