They look good.
I just ordered my first bike in over 19 years, an 06' Nightrain. It should be in sometime before Christmas.
The stock bars would have been perfect 19 years ago, but now I have this gut thing happening, and I don't see a 34" waist by spring...
I ordered a set of the new chromed Billet bars.
I hope they feel as good as they look.
They are more comfortable. At first it was really hard to get used to because the bike handles so different now. And at first I really liked the look of the drag bars better, but these ones have sure grown on me, I don't think I'll be going back. with all that detachable stuff and these bars it really changes the look of the bike.
Great Looking set-up.... I have a 03 Night Train that I got to change the bars on... What risers did you use (Deuce Style)? And the bars are they factory harley or after market? I assume that you had drag bars oringinally.... What about cable length was that a problem?
I bought the kit from HD, they have a setup that they sell specifically for the NT so you don't have to change cables. They told me they are the same risers as the ones that come on a deuce, but in truth I think the deuce risers are a bit bigger. These look more comparable to the standard risers. just the same, I sure like em. set me back like 250 for new bars, new risers, and labor.
is it just me or isn't the whole reason for buying
a nightrain for the look with the dragbars. I should
talk, look at my fatboy and the only thing that looks
like a fatboy is the wheels. If I had thought it thru
I would have chosen the nightrain over the fatboy just for the look.
I like the dragbars just to strech my arms out. Imboden, you still have a
sweet looking bike
