Default Spark plug info

2006 Deluxe EFI. Been having a problem with a low speed miss. A few months agp I installed a set of E-3 plugs and they seemed OK but the miss devoloped again . I pulled them out today to take a look. See photo. Do they look to be pretty lean running to you? I'm not familar with that brand other than ads.. If so whats the cure ? Remember it a EFI. I already have a new set of traditional HD plugs

Ditch them things in the shitcan and put as set of OEM plugs back in the bike if you want to resolve your issue!

at the risk of hi-jacking the OP's help thread......help me with that, OldE

what's wrong with them?
I put them in mine last year (stock FI 88 w/12k miles at the time) and it made a slight difference I could tell at low end RPMs (1800-2200rpm) over the stock (and presumably OEM original) Champions

what's the concern with the E-3's?

thanks

It's an issue with the ECM reading the plugs correctly. There are many threads regarding their use. Use the Search feature to bring up those older threads. For all their claims about performance gains and fuel economy, none have turned out to be of any real value in Independent lab testing in motorcycle applications.

Those OEM plugs are nothing but champions with the HD logo on them.. While I don't care for E3s, I'll run the NGK DCPR7EIX before the HD branded champions any day.

E3 plugs are a joke. Toss them and put the stock plugs in a ride. Never had an OEM plug fail yet.
