Hey can i install a set of tires 200\55R17 and 140\75R17 with rims on a 2000 FATBOY they came off a newer FATBOY?

The obvious question is, does your 2000 fat boy have 17" wheels?

I missed where it said "with rims.

Having retro-fitted my '06 Deluxe with later model wheels, from a 2015, I can say it's not a direct swap. Axle sizes were changed in the late 2000s, (2007 or 2008). And in the case of my Deluxe, the rear hub width was way different. I had to unlace the late model wheel, machine the rear hub .4" narrower, and modify it for the earlier bearings, then relace. The front was able to be handled with custom made bearing spacer bushings.

So, essentially, you need to do some precise measuring to see if it is even feasible.

I know the front rim is the same as mine only the bearning is different
