Default Problems with new bars

Hey guys I have an 09 heritage softail...
I bought some Burly Bikini beach bars, I bought these bars because they are drilled and dimpled, I had NO interest in internally wiring these bars however there was no way possible to get the right side perch clamp on any way shape form or fashion...it's just too much wire to fit in their "dimpled" area.

I really want these bars as they are perfect for me.
So my bike is completely torn apart and I have been fighting it every step of the way for 2 days now with no end in sight...

I finally got the right hand controls wire connection disconnected under the tank from the stupid bracket that holds it on the bike.

My question is:
Does the connector disconnect on both ends?
I disconnected the wire that goes to the rear of the bike, and it looks like the wires that go to the front of the bike also come out of the connector, but I cant find any way to disconnect it.

The pic shows the connector with the wires on the rear side of the bike unplugged, I am asking if the wires come out (unplug) from the connector on the other side as well, or do I have to take apart the entire plug?

Thanks for any help

Do those plugs have rubber inside them? If so, I don't know how to get them apart. If not, use a depinning tool or safety pin and you can take them apart.

If you really REALLY don't want to run the wires internal, you can also grind a little away from the inside of the clamp to give yourself the clearance for the wires to run inside the dimpled area.

I really hope that makes sense...

ok I found this video just now and the same connector is at 4 minutes and 50 seconds in.
apparently it doesn't unplug in the rear of the plug, and only the side towards the rear of the bike unpligs.
here's the video for anyone else having the same problem.

Thanks man, yeah I didnt want to run internally, but with the bike already torn down this much it just makes sense to go ahead with the internal wiring now lol
I was hoping to avoid tearing the bike down but it is what it is lol

I am over a week at this project and still not finished.
It's fighting me every single step of the way literally....

I got the bars on the bike, wires ran, molex connectors back together ( won't even say how long that took)

I put the tank on the bike and start connecting everything and BOOM check valve is leaking all over the place...
No problem another $45.00 and replace the check valve assembly right?
Went to look at vids on Youtube and it looks straight forward.

I go to install the check valve today and can't figure out hot to get the mess that is inside the tank out to even access the connection for the check valve on the inside of the tank.
Why Harley thought it would be a cool idea to shove that much stuff in the tank is anyone's guess lol

I'm hunting but not finding much on anyone working on an 09 heritage doing this.
I think when / if, I finally ever finish this I will make a video of what to do, because I have ran into so many road blocks, a what I thought would be a simple task has taken me a long long time and about $75. extra in cost.

Wish me luck that I can finish this before Thanksgiving and with little property damage ;-)
I seriously am beyond frustrated, just emotionally taxed with this project

hers the connector inside the tank for the check valve line.
looks like you squeeze the two black tabs and pull the line off the fitting but i can not get it to come off.
i can reach the black tabs to squeeze them til they bottom out but it won't release off the fitting
i cant pry it either because i cant get it out of the tank enough to access one of the tabs.

ok, the answer is a very long pair of angled needle nosed pliers.

I had to grab the line with the pliers and squeeze the tabs and just wiggle back n forth as I pulled on the connection til it popped loose.
It took several tried to get it off.

Any tips on how to fix the situation when the throttle grip fits too tight on the handlebar?

I have a new set of Kuryakyn ISO grips that I had on my last bars and just bought them.
Well on these handlebars the throttle grip fits too tight and I have to push and pull the throttle to keep it from staying open.
NO its not a line issue its a grip issue, it jus fits these bars too tight.
I already tried sanding the bars a little thinking it would loosen it a fraction, but nope.

Suggestions?

Sanding didn't help? Maybe Emory cloth? I had a similar issue, but sanding fixed it. Also, check the inside of the grip for burrs.
