Grew up riding anything and everything! Spent the last 30 years raising kids. Just picked up 03 FXSTBI. Take a look at pics. I am being told factory paint. However vin indicates black. Anyone seen this paint job before?

Is this a factory paint job? Not according to vin but seller believes it is. Doesn’t really matter I bought it anyway.

 

That's factory but it ain't black. Maybe the PO swapped the tins out.

 

Must have. I trace it back to second owner bought it 05 with these tins. I haven’t seen this on many 100th Night Trains. Seemed odd.

No offense to black bike owners, including me, but I would take that color over black any day. Have friends tell me Harleys only come in two colors, black and ugly. I am partial to dark blue bikes, my 09 Custom is black and my other bike is dark blue.

Not factory,maybe hD custom set for 03 or that time frame. I like it. Bad Boy style scallops.I’ve seen that bike some time ago But not on this forum. Probably my eyes but that tank looks photoshopped on the bike.G.
