I haven't looked at a Michelin Commander II in quite awhile... so I have no specific memories of them or if they have wear symbols and/or wear indicators...

Just looking at the Commander IIs on the Michelin web site, they have only one view I could find. The view doesn't lend itself to look closely for symbols on the tire, marking where the wear indicators are, but there does appear to be wear indicators in the treads... I don't see as many around the tire as the Commander IIIs have, but in this one pic, I think I see one wear indicator on each of the front & back tires... I marked them with arrows... maybe you could look in these spots/treads on your tires, and report back. I would think they would have two sets at 180° apart at minimum... but it is possible they only have them in one spot...

In the UK with our motor vehicle test, cars must have at least 1.6mm tread depth and motorcycles 1.0mm tread depth.

Is there not a similar requirement in America.

My Commander IIIs have the logo and wear bars just like the reference above.

Wow.. If I'm reading these wear marks correctly, I've still got quite a few miles left on these bad boys. Commander III's rear at 9700 miles.. looks like I still have 2 or 3 k left. This is on a 2008 Heritage classic. I ride easy (at 71, I need to keep it easy lol)
