Default Tag Relocation

'19 FLFBS
Fixing to eliminate the strut run/brake/turn lighting, powder coat the struts with black, add a run/brake/turn light bar to the rear fender(photo below).
Tag definitely needs relocated to the swing arm or axle nut. Which one should I be looking at, I don't need overpriced, but I do need quality.
Thinking softail section get a better reply than the M8 section.

I completely understand your plight brother. Couldn't stand the plate hanging off the side of mine either. Only problem is, there isn't much to choose from that won't cost Moco prices (or more if you've seen that outrageous priced setup from that Australian company).

I have the same light bar you ordered, except mine is the single row, and I went with a license plate mount that fits in the exact same place under the fender. Cheapo, but steel and sturdy.

I kept my bullet lights on the back, just because I like having as much visibility as I can. Since I went that route, I had to get another standoff, seeing as the right side is longer than the one on the left. Take the stock license plate mount off, and you're all lopsided.

On the fender light mount, I had to get handy with a dremel to be able to fit them both up using the same holes. It's made of junk plastic, so this wasn't too difficult. Just be patient and don't take off too much at a time. This is the plate mount I used.

Forgot to post pics. The license plate light looks blue in the pic, but that's just the camera.

Appreciate the input, I've looked at hundreds of these tag mounts and still looking.
What got me was the german with the bobbed fender setup wanting 160+ for his tag mount
Picky bastid I am but I'll stumble across that right one...*chuckles
Notice DK has one, have to give them a call.

TexasFatty...question: that light bar metal or plastic bracket? I had them email me the instructions hoping it would say, didn't.
Says two bolts fasten it up under the fender where the cheap HD plastic reflector bracket is

I made my own. I didn't like the looks of the billboard on top of my brake light. I attached it using the holes where the belt guard used to be.

Put the plan together, I forgot about DK Custom. they had a tag mount for the axle.
Light bar, tag mount, and even stumbled on Fender Strut Cover Plates for Kuryakyn by Kellermann to cover the holes when eliminating the turn signal housings.

I'll post pics when it's complete. Thanx y'all.

Fender light bracket is plastic and comes in 2 pieces. License plate bracket I ordered is metal. When I mounted them to the fender, I put the light mount on the inside so the metal license plate mount would help keep it in place.

I mounted my plate off the left peg location. Bolted on from the inside so it wouldn't stick way out. Found the mount on eBay. Pretty solid and has some adjustability.
