Hi Guys,
I’m a bit stuck - has anybody installed one of the AF covers over a ness big sucker, does it work?
The bike is a 103 twin cam 2014. The oem filter is the oval type, not that it matters.
Thanks
evidently, you did NOT. My reply was meant to be helpful and you took it derogatory and tried to bust my chops. Bad move.
You know what the chances are of someone runnin that cover on a big sucker? You're better off pulling up the dimensions.

Now p*ss off, again.
Aaawwww - did I hurt your feelings? Sorry bout that.....I’m terrified you might come back with another empty threat - get back to facebook mate.
Though i will advise - the dimensions - other than a simple 8” are difficult to obtain -if they were available perhaps the connection between the two might not work.....
Now the BS AF has been around since I began buying them from FM back 2008 or before possibly, this cover is a 91A reference, meaning its been around years also.....now I live in the UK its takes 3-6 weeks for a part to arrive, I could order the BS and look at it, I know it fits the bike after all, then gamble the cover might fit, thats more cash and potentially another 3 -6 weeks then a bit of hope they “connect” or its wasted and back to square 1......so yeah there is a real chance someone just might have worked those two parts together maybe not but just a chance.....that answer might save me some cash and potentially a heap of time..........that answer...enough said.
Perhaps in future take a deep breath.
Cheers
How does one "pull up the dimensions" for either, links please?
The air filter, arlen ness big sucker' dimensions can be googled. The cover he's looking at doesnt give the dimensions but it shows what appears to be the same as an K&N 0800 filter, under installation instructions, those dimensions can also be googled.
Little calculation and figure out bite the bullet or not, return it if it doesnt fit.
It use to be HD parts listed online much more info than they do today.
