Default Springer Softail

I have a 2009 Springer Softail w/ a 131 Screaming Eagle, when I turn on the ignition all lights come on as expected. But, I donot hear the fuel injector come on or the bike will not crank. I checked all the fuses but none seemed to be bad, any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad battery.

Wouldn't be the first time a new battery was installed that wasn't fully charged. Get it tested and eliminate that as a cause.

Not stupid at all, good place to start, the switch could be in the run position but switch could be failed open or wiring to switch has failed. Get the wiring diagram for your bike and follow the start circuit. Never assume any thing is OK. Check from point to point with a test light. A VOM could read voltage which is potential but the circuit may not carry any current.

What bike do you have? The only 2 springers made in 2009 was the Crossbones and the CVO Springer Softail. You also stated it had a 131 motor in it and I was wondering who made the kit or was a complete engine swap???? I only recall them making a 120 cubic inch motor in 09.
