Springer - fork spring kit & dampener
Hiya brains trust.
I need to install a new spring kit on my forks as the ones on it have sagged, but I'm having a bit of trouble sourcing a kit. eBay has a set for just under $126 USD which I feel is too expensive. Vital V-Twin Cycles has a set for a more reasonable $117 USD, same price as Bitter End Choppers. Are there any other suppliers you may know of?
Ultimately, I'd like a stiffer spring rate, but I think that would be an even greater challenge to find.
I'm going to purchase a Fornales dampener too. A search for them is also difficult - $377 USD from MAW Solutions, England. Another source would be much appreciated too.
Cheers.

They are using the original MoCo tooling to make the Springers. They might have something.

126 is too expensive but 119 is reasonable? 7 dollars difference? <shrug>
How many miles on the bike? Not typically a wear item and plenty of adjustment in them I got a 70+ year old front end with original springs on it.
As mentioned above, Paughco bought the rights, machining and everything else from HD.
