How about Ohlins twice the price of the Axeo, you get what you pay for with suspension but there is a diminishing return at some point, I really want the 30mm Ohlins but might end up with the Axeo after I have seen some more detailed reports.
The Legend AXEO front end kit is $750 not $800. If you shop around online you can buy for a little less.
It is my understanding that the AXEO front fork kit is a matched set and adjustable for your weight. Unlike the Progressive kit. The AXEO kit is all American made components with a lifetime warranty, not sure about the Progressive kit.
Most important: how the AXEO kit performs. I just had the AXEO kit installed on my 14 Limited along with the Legend AXEO front end kit. The tech at my HD shop said the components were first class, top quality. He said everything fit properly and that it was a easy install.. I am in love with how my bike now rides and handles. This should have been my first modification. The ride is smoother and firmer, handles rough pavment very well. I tried high speed stops, the front end stayed composed, with a slight dip. I am extremely happy with the Legend AXEO front end kit.
I'm sure the Progressive mono kit is good, I think the Legend AXEO kit is just a step up. Well worth the extra bucks IMHO
