What is this component? Currently working on an unrelated electrical fault on my FXSTC softail custom. But it's bugging me and I haven't found an explanation yet. A sensor or battery back up for the alarm is my best guess.

It should have a paper label on the other side that you are showing in your pic, at least mine does....
