Default Back on a Softa

I just picked up a 2008 Crossbones the other day, always wanted one and this one was available at a great price. Original owner with only 22K miles on it. I sold my Road glide because I haven’t really been doing any long rides the last couple of years. I’m very happy to be back on a softail, feels so light on its feet. Not sure yet what to do with the exhaust, I like the 2 into 1 but just don’t like the muffler. Maybe a nice fishtail end cap muffler on there would look better.

Always loved these. Maybe a nice set of black duals?

Really nice bike. If you don't plan to ride 2 up, it would look 2x as good without the sissy bar and pillion.

Thank you, still ride 2 up, the sissy bar and seat come off nice and easy. It definitely looks even better with those off. I’ll have to look around and see what’s out and looks good as far as exhaust goes.

Sweet 'bones - don't see them too often, but always eye-catching. Congrats on scoring a sweet scoot!

Thanks, I had a Springer Classic back in the day and always regretted selling it. Bones is the next best thing.

Good find! I keep looking for one around here. I'll snap it up in a hearbeat.

I was actually looking for a heritage when this bike popped up. Let’s just say it was the cheapest crossbones for sale in the country. Needs a good cleaning and a new rear tire. That’s all.

Nice find! But you're right, that butt ugly exhaust does nothing for it. No 2in1 looks fer chit on a softail but that one is especially ugly. Probably sounds just as bad as it looks.
