I heard they are stopping production on the deuce! Is that true!and im wondering why!

 

In just talking to some dealers..they said it was poor sales over all. One guy said they only sold about 2 a year. The other thing they all said was that it was trending towards street glides, road glides and full baggers..I should know ..I just trended!!

To me it was always a kool looking bike. Everytime
I saw one I wouls stare. But I would not by one given the option of another softail.

 

Yeah they offed the Deuce (and the Standard)...I'm thinkingit wasto make room (and less competition) on the showroom floor for the '08 Rocker (which IMO has a decidedly Deuce-looking tank)

 

Thats ok... my standard is now a classic!....whats really gonna be sad is when these suckers are all water cooled in a few years [&o]

 

Its true 07 is the last yr. My dealer said sales were poor for this bike. I quess you cant buy it, if its not in-stock.

 

Everyone has a theory, just make up whatever you want, that's what everyone else (including the dealers) is doing. My own personal theory is that it was just too damn good looking and all the ugly-*** bikes (read everything else) were jealous and ganged up to spread bad rumors about it in school and the principal had no other choice than to expel it

 

I feel that the Deuce has evolved into the Rocker, think about it....
The Deuce is discontinuedfor '08 and the Rocker comes out with alot of "Deuce" features.It just makes the most sense to me.....
and it's not an insult to the Deuce, it's just a Deuce with a different name.

 

Shouldn't you change your screen name to Jerry Springer or something now??? Nice new bike
