Hi All! Thanks for allowing an old fart join your group. I'm U.K. ex pat living Bulgaria. Reside in a hunting/farming village surrounded by three huge forests.
Main highway 15 miles and another 20 to local town, well above sea level so propagation good for my Ham Radio. I run FXSB and drive Texas Edition GMC Sierra extended cab 2015 have a original Gp MkI Beach Buggy I built 2016 plus other toys like Case 580Sm BackHoe Kawaski Gtr 1000 and my winter bike Rice Grinder Yamaha XT600E.
Now! come on Guy's & Gal's help an old fella out here.
My Wife bought me the FXSB 1km showing on clock back in 2018 for Christmas/Birthday YES! I hear you say lucky B"""""""d. I really am a bagger Dude and although covered some miles on "Fat ****" starting to fall out of love due to forward sets, can't stand riding position. I know/think it is possible to replace with Fat Boy foot boards. However as I'm Bulgaria and Brexit's knackered my contacts UK for parts due to serious duties and tax need help.
Also the Handlebars want changing, I am 6'- 4" rather large and on my FLHR had lovely Californian Beach Bars, I have removed the FXSB one's and they are 1- 1/4" all along the tapered for controls. All I see on web is 1-1/4" after riser 1-5/8" and cables need to thread through.
Would it be possible PLEASE for someone to give me dimensions and/or references to correct parts needed to make my riding experience a better one.
Thank you all in anticipation and hope you are having a Super 2022.

Hi there OnyerEdson. I moved you from the Welcome Area Only to Softails since the main thrust in your post is getting advice about your bike.
And the chaps here are VERY GOOD.
In the meantime my friend, feel free to come back to the Welcome Area Only found HERE, and tell us a bit about yourself. Maybe also post a PIX of your bike etc........ more about you than bike mods you would like to do ok mate?
GLAD to have you with us,
BC7

And. Welcome from North Beach, FL., USA!
Just in case you have not done both of these two important items!
Be sure to add an Avatar of your favorite shot in the USER set up for the small picture others will see in the top left corner of your post with your USER name.
And most importantly a Signature Line in your USER set up for your bike model, year, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with that others see at the bottom.
This enables others to know your exact model if you ever ask a question or another member interested in it may ask you a question about it.

Your all set.... Enjoy the ride! ______________

Welcome from Spartan Country, Michigan!
I tell a lot of new comers to the forum to get: Factory Service manual and the Parts manual. Get a three ring binder and record all your maintenance, repairs, accessories, etc. This will be a great reminder of what was done when. And great material to pass along to the new owner should you sell and upgrade. Also know how large your fuel tank is, a rough idea of your range per tank, and record your fuel usage. I have an app called Simply Auto that I record all my fuel used. I use the odometer and use the fuel gage as reference only. I reset the odometer to zero on fill ups, and I know I can safely get 200 miles on a tank on around town riding, and upwards of 230+ on trips.
Good Luck!!

I believe you are correct in your assumption that you can put Fat Boy foot boards on your FXSB... You didn't say what year you have...?
I know that for the older softail frames (pre-2017 and the monoshock), you can just look up Fat Boy foot board parts for the same year as your FXSB, in an online parts finder. They will then bolt up onto your FXSB frame.. Now, how you would get those parts to your neck of the world, I have no idea...
If you have a newer, mono-shock softail, I don't know if that would work. I've never seen a mono shock softail in person, and I have no experience with them..
As far as the bars go, what is your concern about the 1 1/4" handlebars you are finding online...? I put a set of Chubby Wild Ones 579 bars, 1 1/4", on my 2014 bagger. Running the wires inside the bars wasn't that hard at all.... On the canbus wired bikes I've seen and worked on, the connectors were small enough that I didn't need to de-pin them to feed them through the bars, unlike the pre-canbus wired bikes...
Good luck with your mods....
