Default Rear wheel

I've gota 06 softail with the 200 rear on the 6" rim, i'm thinking if i can maybe squeeze a 7" rimin!
Any advice would be handy.

Isn't the stock rim 5.5"? In any case the fitment of the stockwheel and tire has very little clearance. I don't know if it would work or not, but it seems pretty tight as it is.......

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to?I see no benefit from it, performance wise or asthetically.

On the Metzeler site is says that 06-07 FXST(B or S) rear rim size is 6" wide.

I don't think the 7" wide rim will fit since there is almost no room between the rim and the brake caliper with the stock set-up.
