Default Front End Fork Damage

Just looking for quarterback opinions on the possible damage. I've seen a couple posts similar to mine. As the story goes, rear ended a vehicle and looking to repair the damage. Aside from being bent up front and a damaged fender what can I possibly expect damage wise to the front end? Looking to repair and get back on the road, guessing full on new front. I saw no damage to the frame where the front wheel would've crunched into it. Also looking for options for front ends if any of you know. Youve all been great in the past and am sure this community will bring me the knowledge I'm searching for. 2014 FLSTN Softail Deluxe

Piece of cake! A set of $200 fork tubes and you will be good to go. Maybe cowbells. Make sure the wheel is still true. Done this many times.

On these bikes the frame and triple trees are much stronger than the fork tubes.

As long as its apart, drop in some Race Tech springs and valves!

While apart, check, lube, and adjust the neck bearings!

Also, check the axel, they bend easily, but yours looks like an even hit.

Ha! Great news! I was expecting to do an entire front end job. Was hoping to save and not have to hack off limb to get this going. Thanks for quick reply. Still open to any and all suggestions or recommendations for products. Thanks again!

Good advice above. I repaired the bike below. No damage to frame or triple trees. I hope you get by with one or two

Dang, sorry to hear (and see), that sucks. Hope you can get her back on the road soon.
Btw, I got a pair of forks from my 2004. Would they fit your 2014? Got wheel, axle, trees etc too if needs be. LMK I am in Texas.

Easy fix. As stated, fork tubes and I will offer from experience, maybe, the inner fork tube bushings when you rebuild the forks. A Fender of course. And also as mentioned, check the axle for trueness. Golden. This is assuming the wheel is true and not damaged.

Sounding all pretty positive. Looking to change wheels soon. If it is damaged probably a lot sooner than I had expected.

OK - the big question - How did you run into the back of a car????? Those things are big and we as cycle riders are supposed to keep our distance [[[[[[[ ---- ]]]]]].
