Default question

I have a 2002 fatboy (carburetor). Our speed limits here in BC are mostly 90 Kilometers an hour or 55 MPH. Can any one tell me what RPM I would be running in fourth gear at 55 MPH. I dont have a tach.
Thanks in advance

Here we go again... Why not add a small-ish cheap tach so you'll know what your rpm is at any speed ?

Here's a fairly cheap version

Simple questions in here sometime bring out the silly in some.
55 mph on that FB should be around 2200 rpm.
FB was never a speedster, it was built to putt. 100 mph pushing it.
Gear box and 6 speed changed it up eventually.

My '05, 95 CI, 5 speed, gold badge anniversary edition.

Gear Ratio:
1st 10.11
2nd 6.958
3rd 4.953
4th 3.862
5th 3.15

Gear ratio, has to be a calc for that. Just sayin

Not touchy at all. Just seems there are always some idiots that respond with a stupid remark when some one asks a sincere question. If they cant answer just keep your thoughts to your self. This forum is supposed to be about helping others.
