Hello
I live in FL and rode every day. I have a 2012 Heritage. I’ve read the manuals, gone online, etc but I don’t think I’m activating the Eitms /parade mode correctly. Im following the steps, but I don’t see any changes with an indicator lights to let me know it’s activated. Is it not available for this model
or?
Thanks.
I don’t know if your bike has it. But, it’s not parade mode. When enabled, It shuts off the rear cylinder under certain temperature conditions…only when the bike is stopped. It disengages as soon as you twist the throttle.

ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Id still like to know how to activate etims if anyone knows. Thank I’m advance.
I have a 2013 FLS and I use Mastertune. It can turn EITMS on/off.
I'm pretty sure Power Vision can do this as well, so there are other
options than going to the dealer....
On my '16 Fatboy you can deactivate/activate it by rolling off the throttle all the way and holding it. I believe this is only for TBW bikes or touring models with a touchscreen...does the '12 heritage have TBW? I know my '11 Classic did. Anywhere heres the information on how to do it of you're bike's so equipped:
EITMS can be enabled or disabled by performing the following procedure.
Turn ignition switch ON. Push the engine OFF/RUN switch on the right handlebar to the RUN position.
The above 'process' only works on the later Throttle By Wire (electronic throttle) bikes.
'Normal' Softails before 2016 were cable throttle (except for perhaps the CVO models)....
