i ended up buying from Route 43 HD in Sheboygan. They gave me the best price out of any dealer in WI by thousands. I was looking at the same bike at Milwaukee HD and was told 15,700. I paid 14,100.

Nice. I once bought a bike from Wisconsin Harley-Davidson in Oconomowoc. They were very good to deal with as well.

i went with black mini apes. I was going to use standard cables, but decided the braided cabling would add a nice touch to the bike. there are a couple cosmetic things I would liek to do such as the flush mount fuel gauge, but at this point everything is done except for pipes/ac/chip.

I am kicking around teh idea of some airbrushing or maybe a fat front tire (like the fat bob), but those things are off on the horizon.

WI HD seemed like a nice place. I was in there a few weeks ago to check out their 07 stock.
