I just dropped the down payment on my bike, paid for my first round of add-ons, and started a list of things to come.
I went with the 07 pearl black Night Train at a great price. I ordered the sundowner, detachable sissy bar, kuryakyn smoked leds for front and back (pn: 4825, 4827), tri bar led brake light, black baby apes, and braided lines.
I will soon be ordering the finned covers and some other minor accessories. I am also beginning to save for pipes, PC3, and A/C. They told me that I can't add an AC without a race tuner, trip to the dyno, and remap. They also said that I should really do pipes when I do the AC and chip. Pretty much refused to do ac without tuner because they said it will run way too lean.
the pics will come as soon as i take delivery, which wont be for a few weeks. they are just going to hold the bike once it comes in so they can put the parts on right away (they had to order all of the parts). I did not go to a local dealer for the bike because I saved about 2 grand by going to a dealer 60 miles away..that being said, i want to make as few trips out there as possible.
thanks for all the info and congrats. I am sure I will have tons of stupid questions in the very near future. I was told no more add ons for a while because of the upcoming nuptuals, so I am starting my christmas list now! #1...flush mount led fuel gauge! a friend of mine talked to someone who said HD fixed the issue they were having with those. his old ones are being covered by the dealer under some sort of warranty.
thanks. i am pressing the dealer to speed up the process os I can have it for a rally that is coming up next weekend here in Mil. it sounds like I might be able to have the bike by the middle of next week if all goes well.
