Default Brake Upgrade

Planning the Vicla build of my 05 Deluxe. Gonna do DNA Mammoth 21", but can I upgrade to dual front brakes with newer 07-13 HDs or aftermarkets? Will there need to have a different reservoir or setup?fork lowers will need an upgrade for sure...what else do I need to consider?

This doesn't offer suggestion for your build, but advice on that DNA. I'd look around and do some google searching before you drop the money. My DNA's were less than a year old and rusted to ****, and they turned down my 1 year warranty, threw all sorts of excuses at me. I take great pride and I'm extremely
OCD when it comes to my bike and how clean she's kept. The 18 year old OEM wheels are in better shape.

I did the dual discs on my '02 Fatboy, there are a number of approaches based on budget and styling. For myself I used PM lowers to give the caliper mounting ability, master cylinder (11/16") needs replacement (PM in my case), a tee for brakes lines. Since this deep I also did the PM 6 piston calipers and a set of 13" floating rotors. In my case my hubs needed to be machined to properly center and fit the calipers.
This winter is the install of a 21" solid billet wheel (that will start conversations LOL).

Woah, that's a great looking double disc fitment ! Here in France, I have put an Arlen Ness Big Brake conversion on my 2012 Slim and I have to say that it's already a great improvement for a lighter cost. Even though it's not as efficient as a double disc, it's a good solution too

The 21" front rim arrived, I'm keeping the 16" in the rear. A 4 degree triple tree is going in at the same time. Hubs previously machined bolted up and just a change in spacers to get everything aligned.
