My son has a 02 Deuce that he inherited from my father when he passed away in19. It currently has the short passenger backrest with small luggage rack but were trying to find a taller one with little luck. Cant seem to find anything fixed or detachable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
That's rare OEM items. Have the same similar back rest frame in the taller model. I had shorter model for OEM seat I sold the rack and short one since it served me little purpose on eBay.
My backrest pad is similar except it's leather. More a stop then anything.
I am running a two up Corbin leather saddle. It has plug inserts for their back rest. There huge.
Looked like crap but if you need big on a bar bike, will work. I sold them on eBay. The two up Corbin saddle has enough curve as designed. Needs no front rest
I have four D rings on leather straps under pop riveted under rear seat floor pan area for bag tie-downs. I have a stepped throw over bag. It and the OEM saddle bags work well .
Saddlebags required OEM signal light relocation mounts that tuck them rearwards.
That simple rear backrest frame is the perfect place for a helmet lock and the rest to drop helmet on.
I have the OEM parts numbers that might help with your search if you want it.
