Default 2002 harley fatboy

My fatboy has a catch can on it. While it doesn't spit out oil it spits out water, I don't use enough oil in 5000 miles to be worried about that. I do empty the catch can after every ride and get about an ounce of water. I use straight Harley 50 weight oil in my bike. I know the manual calls for 20/50 in these low temperatures 10 degrees C but I keep it in a heated garage 22 degrees C. What is the problem or am I just worried about nothing.

I use 20/50. Was 30s and 40sF today, 90k on my 01 that way. If you got moisture, could it be from short rides? If I did a lot of short rides, maybe run standard 20/50 and change often. I try to make an effort to do little bit longer rides to get oil hot.

I am not sure I would bother with the catch can, maybe someone who has one, or remembers those, can comment.

Personnally I just run the oil manufacters call for, you can choose syn or dino.
