Default Wider Wheels

Bought a 2012 softail slim a few months ago. I told myself I was going to keep it stock... we all know how that goes.

After looking at some other threads, I've started looking into bigger front wheels.

The thread that started this idea to be exact: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...il-slim-5.html

My question is.. stock softail slim wheels are 16x3. Can I run a wider front wheel up front, and if so, how difficult is it to swap to a wider wheel?

Thanks in advance.

if the fork spread allows, YES you can. just have to take some key measurements

hub width being one, and spacers can be bought or made to center it and align with the rotors.

I was able to put a 150 on my 2006 with no issues on the stock 16x3 rim.
