Default Softail Batwing

I want to put a batwing and hard bags on my 2006 Heritage.
First off I've searched extensively and haven't found what I'm looking for. Secondly I'm in Canada and none of the popular reputable aftermarket batwing companies ship to Canada. eBay and Amazon are sketchy for quality/fit.
Over a couple of years I've been able to get a set of bags from a 2014 E-Glide and a Batwing from an early 2000's E-Glide Standard. I have Amazon bag mounts.
My question and where I need help is: Has anybody mounted a stock HD batwing to a Heritage or Fatboy? Any guidance or tips/pics would be greatly appreciated. I have a grinder and a mig welder and decent fabrication skills so I'm confident I can make it work. I don't need it to be quick release.

Cycle Visions makes a kit to mount a factory batwing fairing on a Softail. They also make the best kit to mount the saddlebags.
Their kit has a cross brace at the bottom (tucked under the fender), so the mounting is very rigid.
They even have filler panels & saddlebag guards.

Thanks! I was looking at the Cycle Visions mount. For $100 US and my Canadian Dollar trading at about $0.65 US it's a pricey little simple bracket. I'm sure I can make that myself out of scrap metal for free. Does anyone on here have any pics of the finished installation or even better some pics of the process? I'm also vert interested in maintaining the Heritage headlight/driving lights which would mean trimming the headlight mounting area from the stock fairing. I know this will be a bit of a big job but I enjoy this stuff.
