Default Small changes fatboy 2007 flstf start button.

Hello everyone Here's what I did instead of the rotary switch .
Everything works well.
But one problem remains, I want it to work like this when I come up with a key
automatically, when the alarm was unlocked, the start button could also work.
If I leave the alarm is blocked and, accordingly, the button should not work.
The next question is where can I find in the circuit a ground point that turns off when the alarm is blocked?
Is there such a point at all? If there is, where? Can you give the coordinates ?

If anything, sorry for my English !

Here is a link to a Youtube video showing how it works https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZBOnvBynZ8E

C

ontrols it all. I have driven 6000 km (3728.227 miles) already and everything works great. Moisture does not get in, of course I additionally worked with this.

While I like having a key switch... the new thing is a keyless ignition.

There are many threads on this forum alone about how to accomplish this very mod...

From what little I've read on it, since I'm not interested in going that direction, if you have the proximity FOB/alarm system and a BCM, it's pretty easy to do...

The OP has proximity alarm, but no BCM... so it appears he found a good way to accomplish this mod...

For what? It's more convenient than a rotary switch! Could you provide a link where people made it?

Not sure about ground.
Love that idea though.

I don't have any specific links, just remember people asking about removing the main ignition switch.

Most threads were on CanBus bikes.

I believe you are the first one I've read who has tackled the pre-canbus bikes... but I could be wrong on that.

I dig the concept. But the redundancy from the hand switch would drive me nuts. Also having the thumb on the handlebars to fire up should you stall out is a bit more convenient.
